Marc and Amy arrived at Deighton Lodge late afternoon on Sunday 5th May after a beautiful and intimate church ceremony.

The weather was bracing but it was dry and clear and as a wedding planner, that’s all I can hope for my couples as they’re not battling squinting eyes from the heat or not being able to make use of the beautiful garden area due to the rain.

Guests were ushered to the garden and treated to drinks and canapés whilst listening to pianist James Hey who might disagree with me on the weather front as his hands were quite cold. 🙂

Once guided inside, speeches preceded a wonderful meal from Babaganoush.

After a refresh and the arrival of evening guests, the cake was cut and onto the first dance and music from Mansfield Avenue.

Babaganoush ensured the guests continued to be well fed in the evening and Bar Hire Yorkshire kept them well watered as they danced the night away.

With big thanks to Kieran Paul for allowing me to share these images of a truly lovely day.
