When Jen and Joe told me about all their planned wedding suppliers, I knew it was going to be a great day and I wasn’t wrong.
I met the couple, the day before their wedding to run through the last minute logistics and I could see how amazingly they’d styled the barns.
They’d hired furniture from All Things Borrowed and each table was named after a metal band. Tables were adorned with red roses, bottles of whiskey and moody lighting.
On the day itself, Joe looked as dapper as Jen looked stunning. He wore an all black suit with black shades and big black boots and Jen wore a stunning fitted, backless dress with a leather jacket.
Their personal friends, The Drinky Tin provided ongoing cocktails and shots for people to keep warm in the April weather and Hog and Apple wowed guests (as usual) with their mouthwatering food.
The day had such an upbeat vibe about it all day and the guests knew how to party…. So much so, I had to be the bad guy and literally pull the plug at the end of the night (in keeping with venue rules, not because I want to be a party pooper J).
Many thanks to Stories Before Autumn for allowing me to share these images.
Lots of Love…
“Ellen was unreal from start to finish. So professional and calm at a point when we’d had quite a lot of stress with chasing suppliers. She was fun, friendly and approachable and totally got on board with our less traditional wedding style which made us feel like she really understood what we wanted but that she was also looking forward to our day as much as we were! In addition to being completely cool she was also super organised and we trusted her 100% from the start. Two huge thumbs up!”
